Food & Beverage Supervisor - ARC Restaurant

  • Full rate of pay - $28.87/hour

What you will be doing:

  • Prioritizes and maintains daily telephone and e-mail activity with potential clients, in-person visitors and coordinating events and dining reservations
  • Leading, mentoring and training the Food & Beverage Operations team with primary focus on the Host Team as the first interaction and impression of ARC restaurant
  • Manages the flow of reservations in all areas on a daily basis, ensuring we maximize productivity, guest satisfaction, and increase restaurant volume.
  • Liaise with kitchen and service team to ensure the highest standard of service quality and ensure the dining room is well paced for optimal revenue and guest’s experience
  • Coordinate large group bookings and issue Restaurant Event Orders for group and special events and ensure accurate communication for operations team
  • Supervise and delegate duties; ensure brand standards are maintained
  • Lead the F&B outlet team in all aspects of the Restaurant guests experience and ensure service standards are followed
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
  • Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the F&B teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
  • Assist in the ongoing recognition and development of colleagues
  • Ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness and upkeep of all areas, point of sale materials and operating equipment occurs at all times

Your experience and skills include:

  • Service focused personality essential, and a passion for everything food and beverage
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar caliber restaurant
  • Thorough wine and beverage knowledge
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of all local Health and Liquor Licensing laws
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts and split shifts
