REPORTING TO: Restaurant Manager
HOURS: Shifts primarily 4-5 days out of 7 including weekend work.
JOB LOCATION: Fratelli, Galgorm
SALARY: £11.42-£12.92 payscale
About the role:
As Food & Beverage Assistants, your main job will be to welcome and serve all our guests ensuring they enjoy their dining experience. Meaning ‘brothers’ in Italian the Fratelli brand concept is to welcome guests into a family-friendly, informal environment where the focus is on simple yet quality cookery and a warm welcome.
Job Description:
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming all our restaurant guests and visitors in a friendly, polite manner.
- With training, have full and complete knowledge of all food/beverage and wine menus enabling you to help with any guest queries.
- Present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverage professionally and efficiently ensuring our guests have everything they need.
- Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the restaurant neat and tidy.
- Using the bar/restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.
- Carrying out daily duties as required by the restaurant management team.
- Directing any guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager.
- Ensuring that your knowledge of the Resort and facilities is up to date in order to upsell to guests if the opportunity arises.
- Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Restaurant standards at all times.
- Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
The Person:
Applicant must:
- Have at least 1-year of previous waiting experience.
- Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.
- Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task.
- Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
