More about us:

Coast Country Hotel Collection is unpretentious and welcoming, our locations are by the sea, in the heart of the country, in pretty villages and in vibrant towns. The brand reflects the best of British – fun, interesting, historic locations; simple, comfortable facilities; warm and friendly hospitality; fun and happy times. And our people embody these brand values.

A lovely Victorian hotel offering superb views over the Great Orme, The County Hotel offers guests a warm welcome. Located on the promenade, close to the beach and pier, our Llandudno hotel sits on the seafront with easy access to the natural beauty spots and activities of North Wales – from boat trips and beaches to coasteering and castles. True to the traditional style of Llandudno seafront hotels, County Hotel has retained many of its original Victorian features throughout, creating the perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation as well as adventure and exploration.

Known for its stunning coastline, North Wales is an area full of beauty, grandeur and heritage - and Llandudno is no exception. The travel writer Bill Bryson described the town as his ‘favourite seaside resort’, and many other people feel similar affection. Perfectly located between two beloved beaches - the popular North Shore and the more peaceful sand dunes of West Shore- Llandudno offers a full selection of modern shops and activities, while still managing to maintain its historic charm.

For the active and adventurous, there is trail-riding, white-water rafting and zip-wires. If you prefer your outdoors a little more relaxed, North Wales also has wonderful villages, tea-rooms, castles and nostalgia at the Great Little Trains of Wales. The views alone – of Snowdonia, Anglesey and the ocean – always make a visit to Llandudno worthwhile. Take a look at our local area guide to learn more.

A stay at the County Hotel places you right at the centre of a famous beach resort. The hotel has 100 rooms, offering unrivalled sea views in single, twin, double and family rooms. Bedrooms include all the best modern comforts, including an en-suite bathroom, Wi-Fi and a flatscreen TV.

The on-site restaurant offers an à la carte or a Full English Breakfast option, with snacks available in the hotel lounge. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a drink at the hotel bar as they sit and enjoy the views across the seafront. There is a full programme of entertainment to enjoy in the hotel’s ballroom during the holiday season, with live music, quizzes, games and comedy.
