We are seeking bright, proactive individuals with the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging project and play an integral role in all aspects of the implementation and delivery of our new online Football Management System (FMS) Comet, supplied by Analyticom. The FMS will service all aspects of the game going forward including areas such as Competitions, Coach Education, Discipline, Registrations, Referees, Matches, Transfers, Payments, and Licensing. It will provide a state of the art, market leading platform for the management and automation of key operations in Scottish football from a local to national level.

The ideal candidates will be confident communicators, detail orientated, dependable and problem solvers. Curiosity and a passion for change to support improvement in Scottish football are the key attributes we are looking for in the candidates for these posts. The candidates must have keen interest in IT/Digital/Product development including the implementation and configuration of systems which support business critical operations.

The role is initially for 12 months, with the opportunity of a permanent position following implementation.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

· Assisting with all aspects of the planning, execution, and delivery of the Football Management System Project from start to finish.

· Providing support in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

· Assisting with coordination of project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of the project.

· Provide direct assistance in configuring and testing the new football management system.

· Supporting the coordination of project risks and issues.

· Maintaining effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including senior executives, project teams, and external partners and vendors.

· Assisting with monitoring project progress and reporting on status to stakeholders.

· Ensuring that project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

· Assisting in facilitating project meetings, including status updates, steering committees, and project reviews.

· Aiding project delivery teams to ensure that the project is completed to the required quality standards.

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and data analysis, to ensure that the project is completed successfully.

· System performance testing to maintain highest level of quality and using the IT Helpdesk to analyse, support, resolve and document incoming queries from users.

· Liaising with designated National League and Affiliated National Associations to provide support in Player Registration, Competition Management, Discipline, Licencing, Data reporting, Match Day, Courses and Apps.

· Other duties may be assigned depending on requirements of the role.

Person Specification

Essential

Knowledge & Experience

· Sound and proven experience in administration

· Experience in projects, from conception to delivery

· A passion for football and an understanding of Scottish football organisations and structures.

· Experience of data capture, report generation and analysis

· An understanding of Information Technology and how it can be used to improve services.

Qualifications & Training

· Business/IT/Digital/ Product development related degree or equivalent.

Skills

· Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step by step action plans.

· Strong client facing and teamwork skills.

· Solid organisational skills, including multi-tasking and time-management.

· Proficient in the application of office systems in particular Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams

· Ability to learn and adapt to new IT applications.

· Strong oral and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
