• This is a temp to perm opportunity.
• The role pays £10.81 - £11.39 per hour irrespective of shift with a rising rate after qualifying periods.
• This work is a 2 shift rotation with flexibility for a 3 shift pattern.
• Please do not apply unless you can commit to shift work long term.
• Therefore applicants are expected to be able to commit to day and back shift on a rotational basis.

THE BUSINESS

• We have the pleasure of bringing to you a fantastic opportunity to join a world class, manufacturing organisation in Washington on the Pattinson Industrial Estate, NE38!
• They produce sustainable automotive products.
• A good work ethic and attitude is key for this position.
• We are looking to recruit Machine Operators to enter the business and learn how to manufacture the company`s comprehensive product portfolio with full training provided.
• To qualify for this role we will only consider candidates who have a fantastic attitude, who are highly keen, willing to learn and can commit to a 2/3 shift pattern.

THE ROLE

• Driving Counter Balance FLT’s
• Line feeding
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Relocating products within the warehouse
• Completing associated paperwork
• General hand balling duties

THE PERSON

• There is no prior experience required for this role, as stated it is all about desire and attitude
• However prior manufacturing experience could prove advantageous
• Due to the flexibility of shifts, it could prove beneficial for candidates to hold their own transport however there is a bus route

THE PACKAGE

• You will feel valued in this role and your skill set will continuously be developed.
• You will also be awarded pay increases to reflect your skill set. You will only ever work day shift and back shift never a night shift.
