Job description

Designer Contracts is the UK’s largest flooring contractor operating across 13 regional facilities. As well as flooring, the company provides curtains and blinds, furniture and lighting, and operates a show home interior design services division.

We have been supplying and installing across the nation since 1992 and now employ over 350 staff members with an annual turnover in excess of £40 million.

Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our friendly team based in Norwich.

Salary – OTE £40k to £45k

Type – Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

This role has an absolute focus on sales to maximise business. The ideal candidate will be able to bring in new customers and grow existing ones across a number of market sectors including, new build, rental properties, social housing, health care, care homes, education, hospitality and leisure, housing associations, commercial office and local authorities.

We are looking for a confident, proactive individual who is self-motivated and forward thinking in their approach to maximise sales and profit.

Other key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Responding to and following up all sales enquiries
  • Participating in planning, pricing and quotations
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction

Key Requirements

  • A full and current UK driving licence
  • A DBS check upon a successful application
  • Will be required to gain a current CSCS card and undertake Asbestos Awareness training
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • Experience of the flooring industry or the new build sector is advantageous but not essential.
