Be able to converse in English and understand the language sufficiently to complete any training or other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility associated with your job role;
Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable traveling distance of the pub.

Job Objective
To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of our customers, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers
Main duties and responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring the highest consistent standards of CQSMA are achieved on their shift
- Provide excellent customer service at all times with the key aim of retaining customers and attracting new customers
- Ensure that all drinks and associated products are served and presented in accordance with Company specifications and standards
- Maintain product knowledge and be familiar with current promotions and any new products
- Adhere to the Company’s cash handling and stock control procedures
- Ensure that the bar, front of house, toilets, and other areas of the pub are cleaned and maintained in accordance with Company guidelines throughout the day, adopting the Company’s Clean As You Go (CAYG) philosophy
- Adhere to the Company’s Uniform Policy at all times when on duty
- Maintain a high level of attendance and timekeeping in line with their schedule (rota)
- Adhere to all aspects of licensing law, trading standards, Customs and Excise regulations, food hygiene, health and safety, and Company policy. Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) at all times.
- Carry out any reasonable instruction given by any member of the Pub Management team or any Wethercentre Manager, including carrying out other or additional duties you are asked to do to meet the needs or requirements of the business.
- Maintain continuous development of their personal knowledge and abilities by completing all training, including induction, eLearning, workshops, and projects as required and on-the-job training.
· Ensure the Challenge 21 Policy and Don’t Do Drunk Policy is being adhered to and to inform the Duty Manager where you sense the policy needs to be enforced or may be breached.
