Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full time, part time and flexible
Responsibilities
As Community Steward you’ll be working within the customer services team, supporting them with customer queries regarding highways maintenance (potholes, road markings, drainage issues, etc.) reported via our online public reporting system.
Your day to day will include:
- Responding to enquiries received from 3rd parties and provide clear detail on the action to be taken, resolving faults reported by customers and engaging with local communities and local Councils
- General site supervision duties, completion of daily and weekly record returns, with a need to be involved in out of hour’s activities and be flexible in shift patterns, working hours, overnights etc.
- Liaising with works gangs and the customer team, as well as Parish Council representatives, the Local Authority, Kier managers, community engineers and members of the community
- Inspecting reactive maintenance reports from Street Doctor (public enquiries), actioning and ensuring close out and feedback to the community in line with KPIs, ensuring the effective use and management of the Kier Manager system within the team
- Health and Safety compliance, including all associated paperwork, completing minor repairs and / or make safe
Who are we looking for?
This role of Community Steward is great for you if you can:
- Drive and hold a full driving licence
- Demonstrate a good understanding of health & safety
- Work with a range of stakeholders with the ability to speak on a technical and non-technical basis
