We are looking for several talented Flexible Manufacturing Worker to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Huddersfield.
This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. Working 35 hours per week over the following shift patterns
Day- 7.30am – 3.00pm
Night- 10:15pm – 7:30am
Salary £ 28,900 Plus, shift allowance.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
- Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
- Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
- Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience (desired)
- CNC experience (required)
- Machinery background (preferred)
