FLEXI Production Operative (Food Production)

Shifts require cover across Monday – Friday (8 hour shift) + alternate Saturdays (10 hour shift)
We currently have a requirement for our Site A (Butchery/DSI site)
Who are we?
Bernard Matthews Foods Derby is a food production company based in Derby, we are part of the Boparan Private Office, a group that contains multiple food brands and restaurants. At our Derby site, we specialise in poultry with 3 key production areas; ‘RTE - ready to eat’, ‘RTC - ready to cook’ and our Butchery/DSI site – supplying to a range of customers such as: M&S, Tesco, Aldi, Co-op, Nandos.
What will I be doing?
As a flexi production operative, you will be required to cover part time as and when required by the business. You will book and confirm what shifts you are available to work with our operations administrators, this could be a or 8 hour or 10 hour shift.
Key responsibilities include (vary depending on shift cover):
· Working on production lines
· Packing products ready for despatch
· De-skinning chicken thighs
· Cutting and de-boning chicken thighs
What do I need to be successful in the role?
· Experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing environment (food production is ideal but not essential)
· Understanding of health and safety
· Can do attitude and flexibility to work
· Must be able to work 3-5 days per week minimum
