Fixed Asset Accountant

Salary up to £25-30k depending on experience + Study support + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + life insurance + tonnes of other benefits!

The Fixed Asset Accountant will have full ownership of the Fixed Asset Register ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times as well as completing the month-end process related additions, disposals, depreciation and impairment.

• Full ownership of Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times
• Processing of capital additions, disposals and impairments in a timely manner, in line with month end reporting deadlines
• Processing of monthly depreciation and ensuring alignment with Group and Local accounting policies
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations relating to all Fixed Asset movements
• Liaising with Operations to ensure unit condition, location and status are accurate
• Attend quarterly stock counts of fixed assets
• Ensuring all processes are SOX compliant
• Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their requests

• AAT qualified
• Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA advantageous but not essential

• Has proven experience and ability to work effectively with internal and/or external customers
