The role
The Fixed Asset Accountant will have full ownership of the Fixed Asset Register ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times as well as completing the month-end process related additions, disposals, depreciation and impairment.

Skills & experience
- Full ownership of Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times
- Processing of capital additions, disposals and impairments in a timely manner, in line with month end reporting deadlines
- Processing of monthly depreciation and ensuring alignment with Group and Local accounting policies
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations relating to all Fixed Asset movements
- Liaising with Operations to ensure unit condition, location and status are accurate
- Attend quarterly stock counts of fixed assets
- Ensuring all processes are SOX compliant
- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their requests
Other
- AAT qualified
- Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA advantageous but not essential
- Has proven experience and ability to work effectively with internal and/or external customers
