Para-Train have a requirement to add more bank first responders to our team covering a range of events and contracts throughout the UK. Based in Teesside we have a number of contracts both locally and nationally for a range of events both big and small therefore require team members who are available to travel both local and nationally from Teesside. Subject to records/document checks & skills assessments, you could be working events as soon as 2 weeks!
Some of our confirmed contracts/events this year that you could be working on: University medical cover, Nightclub medics, Family festivals, sports fixtures, Martial arts competitions and many more throughout the year and now is an exciting time to join our team as we begin CQC registration.
As a first responder with Para-Train you will be required to patrol events, provide general welfare and medical care to members of the public within company guidelines, reporting to senior member of staff at the event/contacting on call duty manager for complex issues. You must be confident completing paperwork to a high standard including the understanding of basic medical terminology.
Some events we have planned this year you will be working alongside Health care professionals, in these times you will be required to assist Paramedics/nurses with high acuity possible critical patients when the need arises.
Please note this vacancy is fully bank with no minimum hours commitment.

What we need from you:
- Have a valid first aid certification - FPOS, FREC 3 or higher or be an ambulance CCA/Student Paramedic (completed 1st year)
- An enhanced DBS will be carried out if not on update service - Must come back clear before working with Para-Train
- No experience necessary - Mentoring is available for those with a qualification but no practical experience
- Must be 18+ due to a number of events having alcohol provision
- Right to work
- Driving licence (desirable)
PAYE roles and self employed vacancies available - PAYE rate for a first responder is £13.50 per hour with benefits including holiday pay, meal allowances and travel expenses(for some events). This role is fully bank however we do request regular availability to ensure our bank database only includes those who are actively available.
