This is a full time, permanent and hybrid role.
From Internet connectivity and smart building technology, to IT and data centre services, ASK4’s solutions bring buildings to life. Working with clients across student housing, build to rent, later living and other sectors, we ensure that people are able to live life and work productively.
This role will join ASK4’s growing technical team, providing industry-leading IT support via our service desk. The role will be an excellent step into IT service and support. If you’re eager to learn, it is an interesting and varied job with a lot of room for learning/development.
What you’ll be doing:
· Being the first point of contact for IT queries and tickets, triaging the severity and then working on those you can complete or escalating to the necessary person.
· Providing excellent customer service on phone calls as well as through updates via our ticketing system.
· Work within a clear ticketing system, ensuring all notes, time and actions are correctly recorded and kept up to date.
· Typical examples of work would include: Software installations & updates, password resets & creating new users across multiple client IT platforms and systems and office 365 maintenance and administration.
· Identify possible problems based on multiple incidents reported.
· The successful candidate will be able to put the customers first, using strong communication skills and problem solving to minimise the duration and severity of issues.
Our ideal candidate will:
· Have excellent organisational skills.
· Have experience within a customer service environment.
· Have a professional approach and phone manner and fluent in English writing and communication.
· Be a self-motivated approach to learning and development with a logical approach to problem-solving.
· It is desirable you to have good working knowledge of operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and you are confidant using IT software including Microsoft Office 365.

Salary: £22,472.00-£24,585.00 per year
