Job Description
What you’ll do:

Logging, recording and prioritising all incidents received in to the Service Desk

Contributing to the effective service provision of the Service Desk Team, adhering to processes and guidelines

Ensuring online requests, incidents and requests are assigned and dealt with in line with SLAs
-
Advising and assisting team members with service provision
-
Providing 1st line support for all of Sky’s IT infrastructure.

The candidate must demonstrate a significant interest in technology and bring with them both excellent customer service and communication skills.
What you’ll bring:

Answering Service Desk calls in a timely fashion and providing 1st Line technical support

Ability to confidently communicate verbally and written in either Italian or German
-
Recording and prioritising all incidents received into the Service Desk

Supply warm transfers to Service Desk Technical Specialists with appropriate professionalism

Work closely with 2nd line and other support teams within Workplace Technology
-
Adhere to Sky’s health and safety policies and procedures; report any safety issues to line management; and participate in Sky’s objective to be a safe and healthy workplace.
Team Overview:
You'll take responsibility for providing effective 1st line support to users via the Service Desk, including support of systems, servers, and networks. The existing infrastructure primarily consists of Windows 10, Mac OS & mobile devices, and several largely bespoke applications as well as Citrix based desktops and applications.
