Firmware Engineer
Chertsey Surrey Hybrid remote working
£50,000 - £60,000 + Excellent benefits
I'm currently representing one of my clients in the engineering defence sector who design and manufacture radio communication products for the military. Due to increased growth of the business they are looking for two Firmware engineers one senior and one mid-level. You will be working with a small team of skilled design engineers to supply high quality products and systems to their customers.
Responsibilities - Firmware Engineer
- Conducting architectural and detailed design of FPGA solutions that meet the customer requirements
- Working with suppliers to develop successful design solutions
- Systems integration including fault finding
- Prepare documentation associated with the development lifecycle
- Communicate with relevant teams such a projects managers and systems engineers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Firmware Engineer
- Strong Electronics design experience with a focus on FPGA technologies
- Previous experience working with FPGA vendor tools
- Knowledge of Lab Test Equipment
- Excellent fault finding skills
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders both internal and external
- Preferred Defence industry experience
