Fire Door Inspector

What you would do as our Fire Door Inspector:
We are looking for someone to be responsible for the identifying, management, and on-site completion of fire door inspections; someone who can ensure subsequent works are fully completed whilst ensuring a high level of customer service is provided, budget expectations are met and contributing to the overall objectives and success of the business unit.
Reporting into the Installation & Repairs Manager, you would:
- Carry out fire door inspections and have completed reports/ documentation returned to the office for processing accurately and on time
- Complete replacement door surveys when required
- Compile professional and accurate quotations for client
- Complete initial site handover
- Manage Service & Repair projects which you have developed/inspected
- Organise and manage materials/ engineers on site
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
The skills and experience you need:
- A good understanding of Fire Doors & Fire Stopping principles
- Relevant experience in an installation supervision capacity
- Experience of working in the door sector with excellent technical knowledge of doors and associated products
- An organised and planned approach to work, with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service/ people skills
- To have a flexible approach to working hours and business needs
- Be able to work as part of a team but have initiative to work independently
- IT Literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft platforms
