Job type: Full-time Permanent
Shift pattern: Tuesdays-Saturdays (2pm-10pm)
Job summary
Reporting on a daily basis to the Warehouse Supervisor but ultimately to the Warehouse Manager. Role involves handling of the Finished Good Stock as required on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Load/Unload Vehicles as directed
- Build transfer loads to our 3PL
- Put stock away as required from Production
- Pick stock for orders in line with the pick notes
- To be able to operate the access system
- Can create transfer documentation for our 3PL
- Able to create the required documentation and dispatch completed picks as required
- Responsible for ensuring the pick aisles are replenished
- Carry out random stock checks during the shift
Requirements:
Essential:
- Counterbalance Certification
- Experience working in a similar warehouse role
- Communication Skills – Confident communicator – both verbally and in writing
- Team Working Skills – Good team-worker who gets on well with others
- Organisation Skills – Organise and prioritise work appropriately
- Numeracy skills
Desirable:
- English and maths GCSE’s essential – Grade 4 / C or above (or equivalent)
- Ability to drive
- Pivot Steer Certification
- Working in a Food manufacturing environment previously
