We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join a growing financial services organisation based in Nottingham City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a business-oriented mindset with strong excel and SQL coding abilities to develop actionable insights with substantial impact on marketing and credit risk decisions. This role would be suitable for someone who has experience of working within Financial Services previously.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data-driven models and analyses to identify opportunities for collections improvement and cost reduction
- Collaborate with the marketing and collections team
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making
- Work with large datasets, extract relevant information, and create visualizations to support insights

Requirements:
- Essential Strong Excel and SQL coding
- Desirable tableau experience
- Strong understanding of financial products such as commercial loans and regulations (FCA)
- Proven experience in data analysis, with a focus on developing insights and recommendations that drive business results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, mathematics statistics
- Financial services background
