Financial Promotions Consultant- Salary of £45,000 - £55,000
Location: Norwich, York or Bristol
Contract: 12 months with potential for longer
Aviva currently have an exciting opening for a Financial Promotions Consultant to join the business on an initial 12 month Contract.
Using your knowledge and experience, you will constructively provide feedback and solutions across a wide variety of marketing material, ultimately ensuring your approval of communications puts the customer first and is compliant with FCA rules/principles and the ASA codes.
Aviva is responsible for ensuring communications which promote, invites or persuade retail customers to buy our products or services, are compliant to FCA rules, ASA codes and our own internal standards
A bit about the job:
Your primary role is the approval of compliant communications, which will cover a variety of different products and mediums, such as web articles and content, emails, presentations, podcasts, Key Features, illustrations to social media - You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring there is a complete and compliant audit trail each file at approval stage.
You will also be expected to need/build a broad awareness of the internal control framework, including a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities across many areas of the business, whilst taking ownership to deliver and support improvements to how we and the business produce and approve communications through excellent execution, agile working and at pace.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong stakeholder management/ relationship building background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Broad range of product and customer journey knowledge across Life assurance, Investment, and retirement business lines is preferred.
- Detailed understanding of the FCA and ASA rules relating to Financial Promotions / Marketing with a focus on delivering good customer outcomes.
- Minimum Level 3 attained in CII Financial Planning
