The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:
Gathering requirements, preparing BRDs and FSDs- Preparing and updating functional specification documentation
- UAT Testing
- Resolving data quality issues
- Cooperation with IT teams, developers, contact with end users
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
Strong educational background - Degree (Masters would be an advantage)- 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role within financial industry (Ideally for Investment Bank or a Big 4 consulting firm, relevant experience within other professional industries would be acceptable)
- Advanced SQL skills
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good presentation skills
- Good product knowledge (e.g., derivatives, repos, equities, etc.)
Desirable:
Experience in banking / investment banking- Product knowledge (e.g., OTC derivatives, repos, equities etc.)
Professional Skills
Communication – advanced interpersonal & communication skills. Able to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, either over the phone or via email
Team player – able to work well within dynamic and goal-focused teams
