THE ROLE
Communisis are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join them on permanent basis, a pivotal role within our Brand Deployment business.
This position would ideally be on a hybrid basis, commuting to our offices in London, Somerset House once or twice a week. However we are also happy to discuss remote working options.
A big part of your role would be to support the business in providing insight to better understand the financial performance, owning and coordinating the forecasting and budgeting processes. Also ensuring financial management information is relevant, reliable and meeting the needs of users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide analytical insight and support to the business - this will come through the monitoring of results/forecast, identification and understanding of trends and of margins that can be used to drive the business forward.
Produce commentaries on monthly performance and results decks for the Brand Deployment executive team.
Manage the end-to-end forecast process. Ensure responsibilities and process are clear and understood, that deliverables are provided on a timely basis and that management receive clear outputs from the process.
To manage the budget process and that a single version of the truth with associated assumptions is maintained. If or when budget updates are performed this role will lead and co-ordinate the process.
Support budget owners with various components of the years planned expenditure, for example technology spend, advertising spend.
Lead any ad hoc investigation as directed by the BD executive team, covering financial and potentially non-financial management information.
There is scope to support the development of business cases, of capital request projects, post implementation reviews and so on.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience looking after forecasting (monthly/annual) for an international company
Experience liaising with key leaders and business stakeholders
Accounting qualification - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Someone who is able to drive the FP&A function to the next level, implement processes
Excellent attention to detail while being able to demonstrate a strategic understanding.
Commercially savvy with experience of the financial management and budget processes.
The ability to remain objective and independent, bring the truth to the business and potentially delivering difficult messages when required.
Problem solving skills.
Commercial acumen, awareness of business planning, P&L management and accounting concepts.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication and team working abilities.
