Job description

Main Purpose of role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join us, based from our Head Office at Lakeside, Doncaster with agile/hybrid working. Reporting into the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will provide support in the production of timely and accurate financial forecasts and management information.

The FP&A Manager will support during Group financial forecasts, budget and 5-year plan updates. They will undertake variance analysis of current forecast compared to budget and previous forecasts, as well as support with maintenance and development of standard financial forecast models as required.

The post holder will also be involved with management reporting; preparing weekly flash reports, submitting HBF returns, producing fortnightly land security updates, monthly turnover, and marketing reports. They will assist the FP&A Manager in preparing key financial information and key performance indicators for inclusion in board reports.

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward and skilled communicator at all levels, who has experience in a similar role delivering timely, accurate and concise reporting. They will be creative, with excellent verbal and written presentation skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into normal terms. They will be passionate about FP&A, adapting a confident, enthusiastic approach. They will be collaborative with the ability to work as part of a team and across functions.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role using finance systems to gather and analyse important data, developing the right solutions and evaluating corresponding results. They will be highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills, knowledge & experience

Desirable:

  • Experience within the construction/housebuilding industry.

Education & qualifications

Essential:

  • Studying CIMA (qualified would be desirable)
