We have an exciting new role within the finance MI Reporting and Planning department, providing financial MI and Insight to the Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) business in relation to Lending products.
We looking for an strong Financial Analyst with a sound knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry to focus on production, delivery and support to the CCB business including month end results and key financial information, forecasting and planning, and supporting ad hoc and project activity as required.

Producing month end reporting including analysis of results and understanding of drivers Explain variances against Budget, Forecast and Prior Month
Supporting with monthly management review packs and provision of business focused management information
Providing business partner support to stakeholders in understanding performance of the business and completion of adhoc and project activity
Producing of monthly forecast and annual budget submissions, seeking feedback from the Business Units and challenging assumptions used. Development of forecasting models reflective of business drivers
Ensuring that all financial aspects of results are produced in accordance with appropriate financial controls and accounting convention
Identifying and implementation of process improvements to drive increased efficiency within the Finance function.
What you’ll bring.
ACCA or CIMA part qualified accountant or equivalent
Experience or working within a financial services
It would also be nice for you to have.
Excellent in the use of core financial software – Excel, Essbase, Word, Powerpoint and other packages
Ability to understand the underlying financial systems, data characteristics and communicate this as needed to a range of audience
Has good understanding of product profitability and uses that to improve performance
Proactively seeks to improve and develop knowledge and skills within own specialist area
What else you need to know.
The is a full time permanent position offering flexible working between home and the office. You can be based in the out of either our Manchester or Milton Keynes office.
