Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a Finance Business Partnering team that supports health care services provided by the Primary, Community and Intermediate Care Clinical Board, Medicine Clinical Board and Mental Health Clinical Board. The successful candidate will be supporting the Medicine Clinical Board and more specifically, providing financial support to the Integrated Medicine directorate.
The Medicine Clinical Board is responsible for £190m of services across the University Hospital of Wales, the University Hospital of Llandough and a number of community-based sites. If you are an ambitious finance professional, able to manage complex financial issues, whilst able to effectively engage and communicate with groups of staff across the Health Board, this is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic, innovative, forward thinking team in the capital city of Wales
Candidates considered for interview will be a CCAB qualified accountant. Experience in the NHS is not necessary. Candidates must possess excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and be committed to working flexibly in a team which delivers an excellent service to its stakeholders.
The office base will be Woodland House with the expectation that a proportion of time is spent working from home, appropriate equipment and support will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not an essential requirement of this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply for this post.
