Job Description
As an Assistant Relationship Manager you'll be joining our dynamic relationship management team within the IOM Commercial Financial Intermediary (FI) Team. In addition, you'll be supporting a growing portfolio of clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits, new accounts and cash management. You'll gain from exposure and experience to a full range of clients and products with the aim that this role becomes an effective training ground for future Relationship Manager roles. There is a strong expectation to grow the FI business through deepening existing client relationships and winning new clients as we strive to be the corporate bank of choice in pursuit of our business vision of Helping Islands Prosper.
Please note this role is only available for individuals residing in, or to those who hold right to work permits for Isle of Man.
About the role;
- Carries out daily procedural tasks via established procedures such as fixing deposits to support management of external and internal client relationships.
- Join Relationship Managers on client appointments, providing support on research and follow-up actions.
- Assists with progressing new account enquiries and collaborating closely with our dedicated FI account opening team
- Working with other Assistant Relationship Managers to ensure smooth running of the FI desk on a day by day basis, reacting to changing priorities and circumstances to ensure client needs are met
- Works within current standard compliance processes, systems, and procedures, and reports simple non-compliance issues.
- Provides a quality service to customers by processing cases, taking care of complex queries and/or investigating and resolving customer problems, and may identify new customer retention or business opportunities.
- Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.
