Our client is a Global Executive Search Group comprised of 11 recruitment brands, dedicated to the placement of senior level (C-Suite) talent across North America. After exponential growth in recent years the group is now looking to hire an ambitious FD who can continue to grow with the company.
Finance Director / Leeds (Hybrid Working) / £70,000 - £90,000 (Experience dependant)
Working alongside the Group CEO, you will be part of the senior management team, advising on the best path of growth for the business and possessing overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, liaising with various departments to help them plan and manage their own budgets. As the group continues to grow it is critical that this person is experienced in coordinating corporate finance whilst managing company and compliance requirements.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Work with senior teams to grow the businesses formulating strategies and plans
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Lead and manage the budgeting process
- Overall cash management (ongoing basis)
- Formulation of annual budgets and targets
- Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
- Preparation and submission of weekly / monthly updates
- Presentation of annual accounts with recommendations
- Review of accounts and investigation of variances then setting recovery plans
- Treasury matters
- Capital expenditure - evaluation and preparation of submissions
- Insurance/ risk management
- Cost control and efficiency improvement
- Close involvement in commercial negotiations with customers
- Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Accountant with experience withing a senior financial role
- Comfortable with a £25M+ turn over business (Preferably within professional services).
- Excellent commercial and business acumen
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels
- Strong IT skills, able to embrace new technologies
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making
- Commutable to Leeds City Center
