About the role of the Finance Executive
Due to continued growth, our client, a leading energy consultancy, is now looking to expand their team and are searching for a forward-thinking Finance Executive who is keen to get stuck in and help grow the company to meet their ambitious goals.
The successful candidate will be based in the client management team which is responsible for developing new and nurturing existing client relationships by working to design and maintain client energy management and procurement strategies while managing day to day requirements of clients as they arise.
Some aspects of the Finance Executive role will involve
- An initial period of training is required by all new team members to ensure they have a good understanding of our clients bespoke software.
Once training is completed you will:
- By responsible for the creation of period cost and accrual reports for our clients customers, taking into account property changes, COTs, incorrect charges etc.
- Be responsible for the creation of customers budgets.
- Run system reports, checking integrity and completeness of data.
- Design bespoke reports to increase efficiency and accuracy of data.
- Assist with the production and maintenance of up-to-date processes and procedures for all aspects of the role.
- Customer services/satisfaction levels measured and improved.
- Approach of continuous improvement across the systems and reporting, so that our clients offering is market leading.
For success in this role, the Finance Executive must have extensive knowledge of the Energy Industry
You will need knowledge of the following:
- Fixed and flex procurement
- Cost and consumption reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Skills & Experience needed for the Finance Executive
- Finance Manager Experience
- Exposure to Working with Corporate Clients
- Good Knowledge of the Energy Industry
- Knowledge/experience of cost charging/accrual generation and financial reporting essential
