Our Finance department directly impact how we can deliver the mission of the Catholic church in Westminster. That impact is felt throughout London, Hertfordshire and Middlesex through our delivery of services, food banks, shelters, day centres, social enterprise and the many hundreds of programs provided by our parishes and agencies throughout the Diocese of Westminster.

We are the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster, a faith-based charity with offices close to Victoria Train and Underground Station and just a short walk from St James Park and Westminster Underground stations.

The Role:
You’ll love working in a fast-paced financial analyst role, embedding best practice in day-to-day operations, and informing the long-term planning of the organisation. Your primary focus will be managing the collection and integration of financial and non-financial data across the charity, as a basis for insightful analysis. However, this a very varied role so there will be plenty of opportunities to be involved in a wide range of tasks covering the financial analysis remit, for example in supporting with benchmarking data against both internal and external metrics and in simplifying and improving processes, systems, models and reports.
To be successful in this role, you will be a flexible organised and self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role for the Finance team, so we are looking for someone who shares our values, demonstrates our behaviours and has the experience and enthusiasm to fill the role.
You’ll be joining a dynamic team as we continue our modernisation and transformation programs. This is a very exciting time for the Diocese of Westminster, and we believe that as a team we can continue to make changes that truly benefit the local communities that we serve.
You will have experience of the following:
- At least 5+ years’ working in a financial data analyst role or similar
- Strong knowledge of MS Dynamics GP and MS Power BI, as well as MS Office Suite – with extensive experience using Microsoft Excel
- Summarising, analysing and interpreting numerical data to identify issues/trends and patterns

Location: Vaughan House, London SW1
Hours of work: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) – may be required to work outside of these hours including weekends (limited)
