What We Are Looking For
The role is suited for an ambitious Financial Crime analyst, who embraces change, wants a role which will provide opportunities to be involved in not just the day to day but helping create a new company in an exciting market that’s expected to see significant growth in the next few years. Key Responsibilities
· Monitoring Financial Crime and Fraud detection tools
· Analysing transactional information to identify risks, trends and suspicious activity
· Reviewing Sanctions/PEPs/Adverse media
· Assisting in writing up, changes and improving policies and procedures for internal and external uses.
· Performing trigger reviews and inflight customer due diligence, advanced due diligence, and risk classification processes
· Building end to end files, assessing key risks, and conducting plausibility analysis of customer KYC information
· Drafting and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports recommendations
· Drafting and filing of CIFAS reports
· Involvement in rule creation, risk categorisation and building out fincrime requirements with a development team.
· Involvement in the TMS risk assessments on projects involving new products, jurisdictions and industry sectors.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
· At least 3 years of experience in a Transaction Monitoring team
· Fraud management experience
· Good understanding of commercial banking and investment products.
· Strong knowledge of financial crime typologies, risk indicators pertaining to them and solutions to mitigate
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills
· Experience in the financial sector
· Team player / teamwork skills

· Strong working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework for Financial Crime, including Anti-Money Laundering, Sanction and Anti – Bribery and Corruption

· We encourage certification - a recognised qualification in financial crime is desirable
· Educational background – Degree level

Salary: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
