The right candidate will be comfortable being hands on, building our financial processes and managing a small team. It is a wide ranging role touching on all areas of the business, you will be effective at communicating with non-financial managers. You will be self-motivated with a sharp attention to detail.

Overview of role
- Managing all day to day accounting operations - this usually includes Rental Payment Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinating the management of cash flow and cash forecasting in the short and longer term. Supporting the preparation of budget and financial forecasting and reporting any variances.
- Preparing and publishing all monthly financial statements.
- Creating reports (annual and monthly) which identifies results, trends and forecasts.
- Ensuring all transactions are recorded, filed and reported properly.
- Making sure reporting meets compliant standards with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
- Streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems.
- Supervising and managing financial department staff
- Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external personnel where required.
- Supporting the business with the financial strategy and decision-making processes
- Helping the CFO in presenting reports to board members, and the wider executive team.
