PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embody the Credit Union’s core values of Trust, Integrity, Teamwork and Making a Difference
- Compiles data from internal and external sources for ad hoc and reoccurring reports, analyzes and validates data, prepare reports and presentation materials for management to deliver.
- Provides analysis on financial performance, risks, and strategy recommendations to inform senior personnel.
- Communicates with managers and staff to resolve financial related issues.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues that may be vaguely defined and require immediate attention.
- Assists with the annual budget preparation. Provides budget versus actual reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follow policy and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong oral and written communications skills required.
- Strong knowledge required in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office based programs, required.
- SQL experience preferred
- Able to work independently and exercise good judgment, initiative, tact and professionalism in representing TFCU with members, managers, staff and vendors.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as accounting principles and data, policy and procedures. Ability to write complex reports.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Work within market deadlines.
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism.
- Experience with automated financial systems, preferably Symitar.
- Asset/Liability Management or Budget modeling experience, preferably with ProfitStar.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
- Ability to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
Experience
Preferred- 2 year(s): 2 -5 years related work experience in financial services industry preferred
