Finance Officer
Dartford
3-6 month fixed term contract, extension potential
£32,000-£35,000pa + Benefits
KHR is working with a bespoke manufacturer of products for the fresh produce industry based in Dartford; who at present are looking to bring on an experienced Finance Officer on a rolling contractual basis to cover sickness.
The purpose of the Finance Officer is to ensure the company’s awareness and adherence to financial regulations, and to facilitate financial procedures and practices.
Roles and responsibilities of the Finance Officer will include:
- Management of Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Making Payments
- Weekly reporting
- Aged Debtors – managing and chasing payments
- Cash allocation
- Bank Reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Liaising with and supplying information for third party providers, clients and suppliers
- Ensuring that all the data on the system is correct and up to date
- Complete administrative tasks
- Continually identify risks to delivery and propose solutions where necessary
- Deal with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts
As the Finance Officer you will meet all or a majority of the following criteria:
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Be AAT qualified or QBE
- Be computer literate
- Be able to work autonomously in a stand alone role
- Be able to work collaboratively with outsourced support
