Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst until March 2024 to cover a maternity leave. The main duties of the Financial Analyst will be extracting, analysing and formulating data, which will involve reconciling sales ledger invoices using primarily SAP and Excel. The results of the findings will then be presented to the customer with a view to amending agreed managed service contracts.
This is a full time hybrid position working 3 days in the office
- Perform monthly Managed Service Contacts (MSCs) reconciliations in order to achieve accurate and timely recognition of sales relating to these contracts.
- With the support of Finance, Customer Supply and Customer Service teams, ensure that all requested adjustments are created in SAP by the Shared Service Centre (SSC) team.
- Implement monthly Follow-up of MSC reconciliations activities to ensure we operate within the agreed timelines for these reconciliations
- Liaise with all actors involved in MSC reconciliations (Account Managers, Contract Managers, Quotes & Tenders team, SSC, Customer Supply, Engineering Administration and Finance) and organize regular follow-up meetings with relevant staff to ensure all issues are dealt with promptly
- Lead all process improvements needed to ensure the reconciliation process works efficiently at all times
- Provide Sales Teams with all relevant information for each MSC account to facilitate communication to customers of the quarterly MSC reconciliations.
Qualifications and skills
- Degree in Accounting & Finance ideally
- Analytical skills
- Team spirit, ability to communicate, flexibility
- Reconciliation experience
- Excel advanced (formula, pivot tables, lookup functions…)
- SAP knowledge
