Working directly with our CEO and supporting the operation team, you'll be generating the data our company needs to make good decisions and grow our margins. Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to drive profitability and optimize resource allocation
- Conduct regular financial performance reviews, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst and Bookkeeper, preferably in the cannabis industry or a regulated sector
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
