The role sits within the North West Europe (UK, Israel & Ireland) finance team, a circa. £45M external revenue region and is responsible for the accurate reporting of the Irish company results in the Group’s two separate Oracle consolidation and management reporting systems, VAT, tax reporting and statutory accounts.Your mission in this position will be to work closely with Ireland team, NW Europe, and Divisional finance teams to deliver high-quality financial and management reporting, financial planning, and analytics with an ultimate objective to improve decision-making, provide valuable insight into business performance and to provide strong financial control environment.This role is ideally positioned for a qualified or qualified by experience accountant keen to make their move into a FTSE 100 company where opportunity for growth and development is written into our DNA. You will be able to demonstrate your incredible financial accounting and reporting skills, and adept at presenting financial information to a wide and varied stakeholder base.Standard security clearance capability is a pre requisite for this Hemel Hempstead UK based role, including 3 years UK residency.Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to)Responsible for start to end recording of transactions in Opera II Microsoft package/SAP for Ireland entity, vendor payments, monthly journalsSupport “SAP Zero” roll-out.Act as Business Finance Partner for the Ireland entity; reporting monthly results and preparing reconciliations, completing monthly reporting in the Onyx consolidation systems, confirming monthly revenue forecasts, and completing formal Budget/FQ3 process, complete local statutory & tax filings, review the control environment and ensure accordance with group policies. Point of contact for all interim & year end queries from Divisional finance and external audit teams.Revenue recognition and complex contract accounting.Payroll for Irish entity, support transition of payroll to a payroll service provider.Documented all the Finance processes for Ireland entity.Document the Ireland control environment for the annual Controls Self-Assessment process, ensuring accordance with group policies and completing the Controls Self-Assessment Questionnaire.The IndividualFully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA ,CIMA or equivalent) or Part-Qualified accountant with solid relevant experienceExcellent Excel knowledge.Experience of using & implementing management information systems (Oracle EPBCS / FCCS / SmartView or similar) is advantageous.Knowledge of SAP programme accountings; WBS structures, ZPLANS and reporting is advantageous.Ability & motivation to persistently pursue and achieve effective results which drive the business forward.Accurate and well organised.Ability to evaluate, analyse and address problems and data of diverse scopeDiversity & InclusionWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
