Job description

Well established and continuously growing organisation are expanding their finance function with an exciting Commercial Finance Analyst vacancy. They are looking for a motivated accountant who is either qualified or studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA.

You will work collectively across the wider organisation and the senior finance management teams to ensure completion of the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate month end accounts are prepared
  • Develop insightful reports that include highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Pro-actively work with commercial teams to ensure forecasts are accurate with all variances explained
  • Schedules & systems for monitoring spend maintained & processes adhered to
  • Produce and explain variance in month and year end accounts in commercial areas of the business
  • Understand and challenge areas of responsibility in the P&L

Preferably you will be qualified in one of the accountancy and finance disciplines (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) as well as being experienced in both commercial finance and management accounts.
