DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Drive and contribute to the development of data-driven quantitative analysis techniques to evaluate large quantities of financial and performance data to support financial and investment decisions. Act as a strategic and neutral partner to Sales BM and Sales heads, working closely to design reporting framework which facilitates analysis of complex data and helps management make well-informed decisions. Ensure data integrity of Sales revenue numbers and develop innovative analysis or reports to help business and sales heads in their decision making process. Work closely with sales BM and sales heads to derive and consolidate forecast and budgeting for Global Sales. Provide scenario-based analysis and commentary for year-end HR commission process and for senior management reporting. Develop and improve cross-product reporting and productivity analysis, as well as drive reporting standardization and best practices across regions. Drive process improvements and automation and achieve productivity and efficiency across Markets and Investor Services. Partner closely with middle office, controllers and BMs to drive cross product/functional initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree (3- or 4-year degree accepted) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Financial Analyst, Financial Quantitative Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Management Analyst, Operations Analyst or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Sales and Organization Infrastructure; Financial modeling and storytelling through datahubs such as business objects, excel, or PowerPoint; Tableau, Alteryx, and Qlik; Markets (FICC & Equities) businesses, especially the Sales function which looks at client related matrices including allocated franchise revenue, client profitability, and competitor analysis..
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Salary: $140,000.00-$175,000.00 per year.
