Foundry is currently seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join the company’s financial analysis and planning team. Responsibilities :
As the Finance Analyst within the global financial analysis and planning team, you will help scale Foundry’s financial analytical capabilities and advise on the company’s overall strategy. You will perform data-driven analyses that drive operational and commercial uplift for Foundry’s largest group – Data and Software.
You will have the opportunity to lead initiatives independently: making decisions, collaborating closely with the Data and Software group’s SVP, and presenting strategic insights to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
- Develop financial models to support valuation, planning and forecasting
- Aid in capital budgeting and expenditure planning process
- Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data
- Conduct comparables analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends
Qualifications
- 3 + years of business finance or other relevant experience
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
- Strong fluency with excel formulas and functions
- BA, BS, or B.com degree required (Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics)
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Good business acumen
Financial forecasting, financial models, variance analysis, cost analysis, excel dashboards, data mining, business intelligence and drive process improvements.
