As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for an Operations Finance Analyst to join our Finance team on a permanent basis.
As Finance Analyst you will be responsible to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial transactions and reporting relating to Hotel Chocolat’s Operational function.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week (typically Tuesday to Thursday), and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like! The on-site locations for this role are split between our two sites in Huntingdon and St Neots in Cambridgeshire.
What you’ll be doing….
- Preparing data for weekly/monthly reporting.
- Calculating accruals and prepayments for overheads.
- Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting with Budget & Forecast preparation.
- Forecasting and preparing risk and opportunities.
- Supporting with auditor queries as part of the year end audit.
- Ad Hoc analysis / Project support (Continuous Improvement).
- Providing cover within the team as required.
Who you are…
Essential
- Attention to detail combined with high energy and an appetite for change.
- Great communication, with the ability to interact at different levels across the business.
- Ability to work with and analyse high volumes of data.
- Ability to plan, organise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong Excel skills.
Desirable
- Working towards achieving a Professional Finance Qualification (AAT).
- Experience in a multi-channel trading business.
- Some experience of using Dynamics 365 or ambition to learn Dynamics 365.
