We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Finance Analyst to join our Finance team, consisting of around 13 people in FPA. Currently the organisation as a whole is going through a period of rapid change. In the finance function the change agenda is particularly challenging. With key deliverables such as enhanced reporting on new product lines and the development of a new and integrated set of management reports to inform business decisions. In this role you'll educate and train the managers and employees to improve financial awareness. In addition to this the team will maintain responsibility for a separate insurance branch, Inter Partner Assistance. This ensures that the insurance business is separately identified for legal and marketing reasons.
This role is being offered on a Hybrid contract, based at our Redhill office. The role attracts a base salary of up to 32k depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Production of management information packs to support business decision making by senior management.
- Monthly updating of MI packs with reconciliation of data to accounts
Production of the balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Submission to group via AXA’s consolidation system
- Support analytical review of accounts
- Production of accruals and pre-payments and relevant audit lead schedules
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts
- Perform variance analysis
- Production of commentary schedules for management and group
- Liaise with business managers to ensure accuracy and suitability of budgets
Support senior management team with expert added value analysis
Your Profile
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
- Previous experience in Insurance/Technical accounting and allocation would be advantageous.
- Positive attitude with the ambition to progress within the organisation

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial mindset
