POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (AHQ & Category Reporting), the Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and preparing variance reports. The Financial Analyst will also be in charge of providing financial support to the management team, prepare projection reports, conducting financial reporting, as well as creating and presenting cash flow and revenue reports for the management team. The financial analyst will be using Excel, BPC, and SAP extensively.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and quarterly financial information including Sales, MRP, Disclosure, BRP, IR, MTPs, and Forecast Reports, from the group companies.
- Analyze actual vs. budget vs. last year variances for sales, expense, and balance sheet accounts for AHQ reporting.
- Uploads and distributes the actual, forecasted & budgeted exchange rates to BPC (BRL, CAD, MXN, ARS, CLP, PEN, and COP).
- Assist in completing information for Global Executive Meetings and Board Meetings.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the group financial & reporting workflow.
- Performs Value-Add functions as identified based on analyses and trends, such as cost reductions (efficiency factors), reduction of suppliers/vendors (consolidation of purchases), KPI’s, Cost-Benefit analyses, and other measurements.
- Assist in analyzing MAP variance and preparing flux analyses for external auditors.
- Gathers competitors’ and other ASICS regions financial data from 10-Q & 10-K reports including transcripts and load the information to BPC for quarterly AAC sales, GP, and SG&A analysis against the industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Solid knowledge of general accounting and financial planning
- Knowledge in Excel functions and modeling, including the use of pivot tables and macros for financial analysis
- Ability to manage large amounts of data efficiently
- Organized, self-motivated and strong attention to detail

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience required
- Experience with SAP and BPC is also preferred
- Accounting firm experience is preferred
- Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Google Applications such as Gmail, Google Hangouts, etc. a plus.

SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $73,000 USD annualized, plus bonus potential
