Cbec eco engineering, part of the RSK group, is a growing environmental consultancy specialising in nature based solutions for the water resource and environmental management sectors. Working on projects throughout the UK, cbec is looking for a full-time Financial Administrator to join their team in Inverness.
This is a key role overseeing and undertaking a range of financial roles across the company and providing administrative and financial support to cbec staff.
Responsibilities:
- Financial administration and management
- Acting as liaison between cbec and RSK accounts / finance division.
- Setting up projects on Focalpoint and maintaining oversight of correct representation of cost and sales budgets. (Note individual project managers will manage project budgets)
- Creation of CapEx submissions, hardware and software orders.
- Overseeing generation of Research & Development tax claim – involves preparing material for KPMG.
- Supporting Project Managers for all WIP activities and producing WIP submission
Requirements:
- Fully IT literate with Microsoft office
- Ideally hold an understanding of VAT and tax Invoicing procedures.
- Experience of preparing financial tenders and generating purchase orders.
- Previous administration experience in a similar role
