L’Occitane, the Provincial Skincare and Lifestyle Brand, currently with 80 retail boutiques in the UK and Ireland, also has important and growing business in non-retail channels - Wholesale, QVC, B2B & Web.
Key Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities
- Support preparation of monthly accounts and in monthly reporting tasks to the local entity and the Group..
- Assistance in Cash Flow monitoring and forecasting
- Fixed Assets Register maintenance and support the GL controller in Capex and deprecation analysis
- Calculation of monthly retail bonuses for store personnel
- Assisting in VAT calculation preparation
- Stock - Reconciliation of stock + cost prices between BI and CEGID. Create improved stock reporting and monitoring
- Coverage for Cash Reconciliation + AP + AR tasks
- Business credit card management
- Assistance in Audit preparation and Internal Audit actions.
- Assistance in maintenance of SAP accounts by conducting reconciliations, reporting and clearance where needed.
- Assistance of the survey report and any ah-hoc report
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Starting position or part qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent- Business/Accounting/Finance Degree or equivalent
- Retail (or equivalent) experience distinct advantage
- MS office skills, especially a high level of Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Hlookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, Charts)
- SAP / BI / Tableau / Trintech / TM1 / COGNOS knowledge distinct advantage but not essential
