Financial Accoutant (part qaulified)

You will be responsible for the financial accounting and management accounts preparation for the group. You will also act as a finance business partner to the group companies. The group has strong and aspiring growth plans, and you will work in close partnership with Finance Manager and Finance Director to support the goals of the business.

Here is what the day to day looks like for the Financial Accountant:

• Responsibility for all financial accounting including balance sheet reconciliations, Profit & Loss, and financial statements for the Group of Companies
• Produce management accounts including cashflows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Monitoring and managing daily financial operations, cash flow, and inter-company transactions
• Processing accruals, prepayments and monthly & year end journals
• Reporting on debtors and creditors and delivering and supporting credit control processes, maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers, and dealing with invoice queries/disputes
• Reviewing & Submitting VAT and annual returns, reconciling to accounting system
• Liaising with HMRC and other professional bodies as required
• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, including postings and account reconciliations
• Completing Balance sheet, Control Accounts, Bank & Company Credit Cards reconciliations on monthly basis

Skills Required

• You must be AAT qualified and have prepared management accounts
• Prepared cashflows, processed accruals, prepayments and monthly & year end journals
• You can be qualified by experience however; you must have prepared monthly management accounts or financial accountants.
• This is a full-time office role due to the nature of the business and needing to be onsite to handle daily queries and be hands on with the commercial team.

Salary: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
