About the role:
We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our dynamic marketing agency. The primary responsibilities of this role are to assist our organization in attaining the short and long term financial goals.
This Finance Specialist job demands you to ensure that the company’s plan of action is running smoothly. You will be responsible for tracking the budgets, building the forecast models as well as assisting the Finance team with its daily operations. You will also interact with our existing clients to ensure smooth financial processes.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, review project budgets, and track project-related expenses.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and presentations for management and clients, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and databases, and reconcile discrepancies as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, analyze financial data, and recommend improvements to optimize financial performance.
- Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes, aiming for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as vendors, clients, and auditors to address financial inquiries and ensure seamless operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed financial guidance and recommendations.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in finance, accounting, or a related role, preferably within a marketing agency or creative industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, including MS Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.), and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and adherence to financial standards.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of advertising and marketing industry financial practices is advantageous.
Compensation:
The compensation range is 1,500-3,500 EUR a month gross (based on the experience).
