Cubert School is seeking a friendly and hardworking team player to join the School Office Team as a Finance Secretary.
The applicant will need to be an excellent multitasker, have confident IT skills and be able to work under pressure in a busy office environment.
The main purpose of this role is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the School.
The main duties will be;
· Provide a professional and confidential secretarial service to the school, including word processing, reports and publications.
· Operate the school’s accounting system including order processing, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, petty cash, bank processing and report generation, working closely with the Bursar.
· Keep accurate and up to date budget information.
· Attend finance team meetings.
· Maintain electronic and manual records including completion of returns, reports and statistics as required by the Local Authority/Dfe
· Update the school records, ensuring all files remain up to date in accordance with GDPR.
Hours of work will be;
Monday – Friday, term time only plus 5 training days
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 9am-3pm
Wednesday, Thursday 9am – 4.30pm
(30.5 Hours)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30.5 per week
Salary: £22,557.00-£27,660.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
