Job description
At Ideagen we are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Operations Assistant to join our busy Nottingham office. This role will sit within the Sales Order Processing team and play a key part in supporting the businesses growth through processing sales orders, billing and management of master data.
This role requires you to develop strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Success and Finance. You will need to work collaboratively with internal Ideagen departments and directly with customers to support and resolve billing queries.
This is a hybrid role, which requires 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
This is a temporary position for six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and Netsuite.
- Working closely with Ideagen Legal department to support sales contractual queries.
- Collaborate with internal Ideagen teams to resolve issues and escalate sales order queries
- Work within month end close deadlines to ensure that key milestones and deadlines are met.
- Extracting sales order information from our CRM system, Salesforce, and using it to raise orders on our accounts system, Netsuite, ready to invoice
- Liaise with Sales, Projects, Finance and Support Teams as and when required
- Resolution of email queries to a shared mailbox
- Uploading invoices to portals.

- Excellent observation skills and high attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good customer management skills, internal and external
- Willingness to be part of team and team objectives
- Works to deadlines and manages time effectively
- Experience inputting and raising billing for multiyear contracts and contractual terms
- Drives own development and seek out further learning support where required
