ShareWe have an excellent opportunity to join the School of Management as a Finance Officer!
About the role:
The School Finance Office supports the academic, research and professional services colleagues throughout the school to provide sound financial advice and timely information.
Working within our small, but busy team, you will play a vital role in the operational management of our finances, including timesheet authorisation, purchasing, invoice processing, budget monitoring and financial reporting.
You will act as a source of advice for staff, postgraduate students and external suppliers regarding financial procedures.
This role is offered on a full time permanent basis however part time hours would be considered for the right candidate. The University Financial year end is 31st July, therefore annual leave during the last week of July and first week of August may be restricted.

About you:
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have an AAT level 4 qualification or be able to demonstrate qualification by experience.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Have a proven track record in financial administration
- Be a confident communicator both verbally and in writing
