Finance Officer
Salary Grade: Scale 5 £24,948 - £26,845 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week, we can be flexible for the right candidate and can offer full time or term time working only working and also part working from home.
Start date: As soon as possible
Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Finance Officer to join our busy Finance department. Excellent all-round finance skills and attention to detail are a prerequisite, along with a flexible attitude and willingness to be part of school life. Previous experience of using school accounting systems, particularly SIMS FMS, would be a distinct advantage.
About the role
The Finance Dept is at the heart of the school and you would be working closely with the Director of Finance & Operations to ensure the smooth operation of the finance functions including processing purchase orders, paying invoices, reconciling accounts and producing reports.
