Foresight Sports Europe is the exclusive distributor and support centre for the golf industry’s leading trade and consumer technologies across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Our Foresight Sports products range from the GC3, GCQuad and GCHawk Launch Monitors through to full immersion indoor golf simulators, coaching and fitting studios, and driving range solutions. You will be based out of our head office on the outskirts of Guildford, Surrey.
OVERALL JOB OBJECTIVES
The primary focus of this role is to assist the Finance Manager, with the finance and administration services for the company, addressing all issues of a finance and administration nature and providing all relevant information to meet external demands.
These services may include, but are not limited to the following.
· Sales & purchase ledger duties including:
o Processing quotations through system to invoice;
o Processing customer payments over the telephone;
o Credit control;
o Processing purchase invoices, coding and reconciling against purchase orders;
o Processing credit card receipts and expenses;
o Dealing with incoming calls and finance queries;
o Collating information for reporting as and when required;
· Assisting with general office/finance matters where necessary;
· Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation and efficient running of the business;
· Ensure company processes are up to date and maintained;
· Help keeping records and systems up to date;
· Collating information for reporting as and when required;
· Greeting visitors;
· Assisting the logistics department with shipping documents, shipping, stock levels.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
· Experience of working within an office environment;
· Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook, and ideally computerised accounting software;
· Basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures, with previous experience of accountancy package(s), ideally Xero;
· VAT knowledge;
· Good communication and listening skills;
· Excellent organisational skills;
· Excellent attention to detail;
· Calm and professional manner;
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic;
· Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines;
· Able to work in a busy office environment that often demands high levels of concentration;
· Able to respond effectively to changing priorities;
· Able to manage high volume workload;
· Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision;
· Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Salary: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
